Sullivan adds son and bird to operational board
From Claret and Hugh

Sullivan has added Dave Sullivan JNR and his mother to the operational board.

So, more snouts in the trough and another way for the Sullivan family to trouser club funds unless of course you're convinced they will bring their vast experience of the footballing world to the club.

What does a parasite do to its host when it gets too greedy?

That little Count Duckula weirdo Jack is already MD of the Women's team.

This club's turning into a late episode of "Only Fools & Horses' and like those later episodes.....It ain't so fucking funny now......

Re: Sullivan adds son and bird to operational board
I said this a few months ago, but I can't see them leaving for a while, unfortunately, especially not until the deal with stadium is there, where they get penalised if they sell it before the deadline.

What happened to those takeover rumours everyone was getting excited about saying we were going to get bought out by Christmas?

Re: Sullivan adds son and bird to operational board
Enjoy it while it lasts, i hope once fans are allowed back in the ground, we can ramp up the pressure on them. The upturn in form and results doesn't change a thing.

For a moment, I read this as David Sullivan's own mother. I mean, that would be LUDICROUS.

Re: Sullivan adds son and bird to operational board
with all the financial challenges the club js facing it is good to see them getting some industry experts on the board to help out.

aside from them being relatives, what other credentials do they have?

After some promising noises from some decent sources it all seems to have gone STONE DEAD.

Although this could be a pre-sale manoeuvre.

Why else would you add two members of your family to the operational board?

a) To pay them a wage
b) To split out earnings from a sale

Seeing as they will add ZERO value to the running of the club it has to be one of those two reasons for me.

Hopefully the press picks up on it and have a dig about.

This absolutely stinks, clearly another way to claim money back from the club.

Disgusting cunts, I do hope we get bought out soon.

How on earth can shitcunts like Burnley get bought and we're stuck with these wankers?

Ahh we'll have a kid and an ex porn star attending our club's board meetings. Exciting times for our club

because we are more than likely being vastly overvalued and other than a training ground that needs investment and a playing squad that also needs investment, what assets are you actually buying?

unfortunately buying west ham is a massive gamble as if something were to go completely tits up, how would any potential investor get their money back, or even a fraction of it? I want them gone but until there is a deal to secure the stadium i fear we will be stuck with them

Re: Sullivan adds son and bird to operational board
Depends how you look at it, apparently we're in the top 20 richest clubs - on that basis you'd think we'd be worth 400m or there abouts?

You're buying a 1/20th ownership of the PL (provided you stay up) and all the income streams that accrue from that.

That's the asset that's worth all the money. Clubs' property is worth comparatively fuck all.

Trundle apparently those rumours were put out there on social media by an anonymous 'insider' account that was either run by or linked to that nugget Spencer who runs #hashtag fc and is linked to our owners

Probably as tool for deflection, who knows with this slippery mob running the Club

If we finish in Europe, I'd argue that valuation isn't far wrong.

At present, it's mental to say the least.

Re: Sullivan adds son and bird to operational board
I'm surprised it's taken so long for them to tap into the potential that Spencer bloke could bring to them. He's got quite a following behind him.
